Welcome to the 8th Grade Memory Book!

This project is designed to allow the 8th graders to leave a brief glimpse of who they are and how they changed at Prince of Peace.

The end product of this quest will be a book containing a personal account from each 8th grader. Students are encouraged to consider their entire experience at Prince of Peace, from the time they first entered school as a pre-school or kindergarten student to the present.

Here are a few quotes about memories. When you are done reading them you can click on the next button to enter the project. Enjoy!

If you want to win friends, make it a point to remember them. If you remember my name, you pay me a subtle compliment; you indicate that I have made an impression on you. Remember my name and you add to my feeling of importance. By Dale Carnegie

I have a memory like an elephant. In fact, elephants often consult me. By Noel Coward

We forget all too soon the things we thought we could never forget. By Joan Didion

You are told a lot about your education, but some beautiful, sacred memory, preserved since childhood, is perhaps the best education of all. If a man carries many such memories into life with him, he is saved for the rest of his days. And even if only one good memory is left in our hearts, it may also be the instrument of our salvation one day. By Fyodor Dostoevski

I always have trouble remembering three things: faces, names, and -- I can't remember what the third thing is. By Fred A. Allen

Okay! Lets go already.
