     Technology: Technology productivity tools

• Students use technology tools to enhance learning, increase productivity, and promote creativity.
• Students use productivity tools to collaborate in constructing technology-enhanced models, prepare publications, and produce other creative works.

Lesson Objective: Students will write a creative piece about their experiences at Prince of Peace. Student work will be collected into a book for printing.

Resources/Materials: Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Word, Assorted Worksheets and Websites.

Time Frame: Four 45minute classes.

Book Publishing: After all student work is saved in the Memory Book Folder they will need to be printed, organized and bound. This can be a lengthy process. Responsible volunteers should be utilized in this process. Book covers can be printed in color on card stock. Use the Color laser printer in the lab. The rest of the book should be printed on the black laser printers in the computer lab.
